In brief

IAA collects only the data that you send us voluntarily (contact, applications). It is used to answer your requests and to follow up commercially. There is no resale to third parties and there are no advertising trackers. For any question or to exercise your rights, write to [email protected].

Data collected

We collect only the data that you send us voluntarily:

Contact form : name, company, email address, telephone, service concerned, subject and message;
Applications : contact details and career information sent by email to [email protected] or via the contact form;
Commercial enquiries : information required to process your request (quote, assessment, support), sent to [email protected].

No sensitive data (origin, political opinions, health data, and so on) is requested. Do not send confidential information that is not necessary for your request.

Purposes of processing

Answering your requests for information, a quote or an assessment;
Following up the commercial and contractual relationship;
Processing applications and managing the recruitment process;
Improving the quality of our services and of our communication;
Complying with our legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, collected when the form is sent or when you apply, and on our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiries and in developing our business in compliance with Senegalese regulations on the protection of personal data.

Retention period

Your data is kept for the period necessary to process your request and to manage the commercial relationship or the recruitment process, and is then archived or deleted in accordance with our legal obligations and our internal procedures.

As an indication, data collected through a contact request is kept for the period necessary to process the request and, in the absence of a contractual relationship, for a maximum of 3 years from the last contact, except where a legal obligation or the need to preserve evidence applies. Data linked to a contractual relationship is kept for the term of the contract, and is then archived for the periods necessary to comply with legal obligations and to defend our rights.

Recipients

Your data is intended solely for the Informatique Associés Afrique teams authorised to process your request (sales, technical, human resources, as the case may be). It is neither sold, nor rented, nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Technical providers (hosting, messaging) may act as processors, strictly within the scope of their assignments and under our responsibility, with appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards.

Cookies

This site measures its audience with Google Analytics (Google LLC): pages viewed, visit duration, device type and approximate origin. Google Analytics places measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_*) kept for at most 13 months and does not store the IP address. This data, hosted by Google, possibly outside Senegal, is used only to improve the site: Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled.

You can object by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The other mechanisms used are strictly necessary for the operation and security of the site (for example anti-CSRF protection).

Your rights

In accordance with the regulations applicable in Senegal, you have the following rights:

right of access to your data;
right of rectification;
right of erasure, within the limits provided by law;
right to restriction of, and to object to, processing.

To exercise these rights, send your request to [email protected] stating the subject of your request and a copy of proof of identity if necessary.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission (CDP) of Senegal if you consider that the processing of your data is not compliant.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against any unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure: access control, encryption of exchanges (HTTPS), backups and staff awareness.

Amendments

Informatique Associés Afrique reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page. You are invited to consult it regularly.

As an IT services company (SSII / ESN) established in Dakar since 2000, IAA handles your information with the same standard it applies to its clients' information systems : confidentiality, integrity and transparency.
