1. 2000

   Founded in Dakar

   IAA was founded on a simple conviction: African organisations deserve an IT partner that is skilled, reliable and available locally. The early years were devoted to infrastructure and networks, and to supplying equipment (Compaq, HP, IBM) and software (Microsoft, Symantec and others) — mainly to managed-services clients, so that hardware is correctly sized, genuine and covered by a real manufacturer warranty. At the same time, IAA provided support and corrective maintenance for a health-insurance management system — developed by Informatique Associés (IA France) and deployed in 17 African countries — and built satellite applications in Delphi, Oracle and Firebird.

2. 2005–2009

   Web hosting, email and websites

   From 2005, IAA extended its work to web hosting and email (POP, IMAP, SMTP), and built PHP / MySQL sites — Joomla, Drupal, Magento and others — for its clients. Antispam, antivirus and securing online servers strengthened the offer. From 2009, we moved our email hosting to a hosted Microsoft Exchange 2007 HMC infrastructure, for every client we cover across Africa.

3. 2008–2015

   Proprietary framework, ERP and the Turbo solution

   From 2008, IAA built its own framework in C#, drawing on experience in Delphi, PHP, Java and Python. Several years of work produced an ERP foundation.

   In 2014, with more than 14 years of insurance experience, IAA launched Turbo — in production since March 2015 and still evolving. Document management (Maarch) completed the offer: IAA became the single counterpart, from advice to support.

4. Today

   Regional reach, local roots

   IAA puts 26 years of experience to work for the stability, security and modernisation of information systems, with projects delivered in Senegal and in more than 20 countries — mainly in West and Central Africa, and also in Europe. We know the realities on the ground and we respond to them with pragmatism.

From multi-site deployments to critical migrations, we coordinate the whole engagement — framing, implementation, support — with a single counterpart.
